Exfoliating effect is one of the main claims in anti-aging skin care products, Salicylic acid is largely used in medical prescriptions and OTC products. Due to the irritating potential to the skin, using Salicylic acid in cosmetic ingredients is quite challenging.
Based on the above reasons, BioStine Galasalate, has been developed as a new generation Salicylic acid linked to Acacia gum, to provide a gentle exfoliating agent with low irritating potential, high compatibility, and moisturizing and softening properties at low concentrations.
