Ceramides are the most important component of the intercellular lipids, accounting for 40 to 55%. Due to their presence, the stratum corneum can maintain its structural integrity to exert its barrier on the skin and prevent the loss of water.
As a skin barrier, Ceramide has an insoluble character that must be dissolved in a high temperature oil phase and requires high temperature oil and water to prevent crystallization.
In the CeraSkin Series, Ceramides are specially treated in advance and formulated into solutions with different characteristics, which are easy to work with and add. It is suitable for various types of products.
