Cosm’Oil SFWD (Helianthus Annuus Seed Cera) is a hard and crystalline wax made from an organic Sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus seed oil).
The seeds of the Sunflower enable the production of a fine yellowish oil (circa. 30% oil in the seeds).
Cosm’Oil SFWD improves viscosity and stability
The melting point at around 68°C and the high percentage of Stearic acid, confers interesting possibilities in thickening oil phases to improve the stability of emulsions (both O/W and W/O) by creating a structural network in the oil phase.
Cosm’Oil SFWD improves the adherence of colour cosmetics
The fatty acid composition and the medium-high melting point of circa 68°C are key tools to improve the adherence of sticks and foundations onto the skin.
Ideal for all kinds of decorative cosmetics: Lipsticks, foundations, mascaras, lip balms etc
