Unlike its opaque brother Fluid Oat Colloids; Vege Tech Liqui-Oats® is a transparent aqueous extract version of whole oats which is twice refined, purified and concentrated by our proprietary process. It has many of the benefits of whole oats in an easy to use liquid form, making it more suitable for hair & skin care formulations that require clarity. The natural ratios of major vital constituents (Arginine, Lysine, Methionine, Valine, Oligosaccharides {carbohydrates}, Minerals, Phytic & Ferulic acids) are maintained, thereby ensuring optimal Anti-Irritancy, Anti-Inflammatory, and Anti- Itch benefits historically attributed to oats and oat derivatives.
When Vege Tech Liqui-Oats® is formulated with Sodium-PCA, the native essential amino acid content closely simulates the skin’s own Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF). This NMF action provides excellent Hydration & Antioxidant effects to skin and adds Conditioning & Shine to the hair. Vege Tech Liqui-Oats® has excellent moisture retention properties due to its filmforming characteristics, and is useful in skin and hair preparations to provide natural hydration, imparting a soft, cushiony feel to the skin, giving it Near-Velvet like Smoothness after drying. Studies have shown that hydrolyzed oats retains significantly more Moisture despite humidity levels, and gains up to 50% more moisture at relative low humidity – when extra moisture is most needed.
