Osmocean Phycoskin is an upcycled marine active inspired by the natural osmoprotection mechanisms of microorganisms living in harsh coastal environments.
Using patented Phycoskin Biodynamic Technology, Osmocean harnesses a unique blend of marine osmolytes derived from a phytoplankton holobiont. These protective molecules help defend skin against osmotic and oxidative stress while supporting both epidermal and dermal integrity.
Its Rejuv-Detox complex combines saccharides and amino acids to help protect structural lipids and proteins, support antioxidant defences, improve cell turgor and stimulate procollagen type I production. The result is a multifunctional well-ageing active designed to improve hydration, elasticity and the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
In clinical testing at 2%, Osmocean increased skin moisture by 12.7%, improved elasticity by 16%, reduced wrinkle depth by 25.6% and reduced wrinkle length by 36.6% after 28 days.
It is well suited to modern facial and eye contour products focused on rejuvenation, barrier support, firming and healthy ageing.
