SpecPed® POP (Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12), is the Palmitic acid ester of a synthetic peptide consisting of two or more amino acids.
SpecPed® POP significantly stimulates human skin fibroblast proliferation, mediated through a binding of the peptide to a plasmalemmal receptor and promotes penetration
SpecPed® POP can promote the synthesis and proliferation of Collagen, Elastin and Hyaluronic acid
It can be used to improve the skin’s water content, increase the thickness of the dermis, and reduce microgrooves.
Its main effect is to increase the elasticity of skin, and increase skin thickness. In addition, it stimulates cell communication and then repairs the age related skin damage. Therefore, SpecPed® POP can be recommended for use in anti-aging skin care cosmetic products, to promote cutaneous barrier repair and wrinkle smoothing
