SpecPure® GBE001 (Vegan chlorophyllin)
Chlorophyllin copper complex is extracted from Ginkgo biloba leaf. Previously, after the traditional nutrients like flavone glycosides and terpenoides were extracted from Ginkgo biloba, the remaining material had been regarded as waste and disposed of accordingly

SpecPureTMGBE001 is a kind of Metalloporphyrin with high stability in heat and light. It is a dark green powder, and has strong colouring power, which produces a bright and stable green colour.
The aqueous solution is turquoise and clear.
Because of its stability and no toxic side effects, it is widely used as a food and cosmetic additive, and in other fields.

It is soluble in water, stable to light and heat, but it can precipitate in hard water, acid or calcium ion. It is suitable for pH 7-12.
Chlorophyll copper sodium is a natural-origin dye approved by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), World Health Organization (WHO) and the China Food Additive Standard Commission.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Chlorophyllin copper complex as a colour additive exempt from certification.
The EU Cosmetics Directive also permits this ingredient to be used as a colouring agent in Cosmetic products, and lists it as CI 75810
