PMD Rich Botanic Oil (PMDRBO) is derived from the Corymbia citriodora tree (aka Eucalyptus Citriodora) or Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus. It is a wholly renewable resource

The active present in the oil is Para-menthane-3,8-diol (PMD), an effective natural alternative to the Mosquito repellent DEET.

PMD has very low transdermal absorption, a very pleasant smell, and has no plasticising effects

There is a large body of data showing excellent efficacy against mosquitoes, ticks and midges:

At 30% (20% PMD); and comparable to Autan and DEET at similar levels. Recent evidence shows good efficacy at 20% (13% PMD)

INCI Name: Corymbia citriodora essential oil
