EthniCare^® QUILLAY  is a moisturizing agent, which moisturizes the stratum corneum by capturing the water contained in the applied product in which it is incorporated, or by the absorption of water from the atmosphere, against exposure to the natural heat of the skin

EthniCare^® QUILLAY  helps to prevent TEWL trans epidermal water loss, generating a skin barrier effect
Chilean Native people have used for hundreds of years the outer bark of Quillaja Saponaria since it contains a large concentration of Saponins, a type of phytochemical containing non-essential nutrients, used as the tree’s defense against the environment. From this a foam is produced that was formerly used by the Mapuche people as a detergent.
