SpecKare® NK2 –Dipotassium glycyrrhizinate
SpecKare® NK2 is a compound obtained by extraction with water from liquorice root.
Many clinical reports deal with the application of this product in medicinal treatments for external application – in the field of dermatology it is effective in treating acute and chronic dermatitis . Moreover, it is also used in cosmetic products.
Its main function is used as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-irritant.

- Application:
- Highly suitable as anti-irritant in hair and skin care products and for oral hygiene products .SpecKare® NK2 has self emulsifying properties and is able to stabilize an emulsion. Its sebum regulating properties inhibit the excessive release of skin lipids through sebaceous glands. In oral hygiene products the sweet liquorice like taste is highly welcomed beside its anti-irritant efficacy
